Our Beginnings

Chef Nickolas Bishop never thought about opening his own restaurant, despite over twenty years of experience in the industry. The idea came from current business partner Adam Howard, who had been on the receiving end of Nick’s cooking and encouraged him to open his own spot in Williamsburg. Adam happened to own a building that would be perfect for the restaurant. After some thought, they realized they could bring something unique and special to the area, and moved forward with the new concept.

Moving Forward

The Hunt & The Harvest was born from a passion for fresh ingredients, a desire to connect diners to the farms that grow their food, and an aspiration to give back to the community. We want to show you where the food comes from while supporting our local producers. We also want to provide a food scene you could previously only get in the big city, right here in Williamsburg. The Hunt & The Harvest aims to be the go-to special culinary experience in southern Kentucky, where you can meet with family and friends over dishes cooked with the finest ingredients and care.
